Geneman – Longtime
With Gospel reggae proving to be so popular and so many new artists emerging it’s great to see one of the genre’s original piomeers back with a new studio recording entitled Long Time.
Born into a musical family on the isle of Bermuda Geneman has been immersed in music all his life and he has emerged as a noted lyricist,producer and arranger. Greatly influenced by the creativity and unique styles of Bob Marley he has performed on a number of notable albums dating back to his first Gospel album in 1998 ‘Righteous In Christ’.
With his unique and very distinctive voice he sings passionately about his love for the Lord and his heart for the world through lyrics packed with the Word Of God and full of the Spirits power.
Backed by the musicians of Christafari this CD contains only live instruments and is full of heart pounding bass lines and full bodied horn melodies. Iyt’s primarily one drop roots/reggae with elements of lovers rock, dancehall, nyabinghi and dub.
The latest in a long line of great gospel reggae from the Lion Of Zion team this album is already featuring high on the wish list of many reggae fans and will undoubtably touch lives across the world.
